  • Ensuring that the background check of a candidate is completed prior to start date. This requires coordinating the efforts of our BC vendor – HireRight, the candidate and other internal stakeholders (recruiters, project managers etc)
  • Analysing data confidently ensuring its high quality– getting to the root cause of the case, comparing data from several systems and suggesting a best approach to follow in a particular situation
  • Making independent thoughtful decisions about Background Check Adjudication in the best interest of Aon and the candidate
  • Thinking creatively and participate actively in brainstorming sessions and problem solving
  • Coordinating high volume projects with various stakeholders and changing priorities
  • Maintaining effective record keeping for all cases handled. Ensure all verifications sent out are followed up on in a timely manner
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service to the candidate as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating effectively and efficiently to all parties involved in obtaining verification information


  • Previous experience in general administration/HR is a must, any experience in BC process would be an asset
  • Basic knowledge about HR systems (Workday, iCIMS, SharePoint would be an asset)
  • English at C1 level is preferred (on the CEFR scale) 
  • Very high attention to details
  • Ability to analyze data and check its accuracy
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines under time pressure and prioritize tasks according to volumes
